Zachery Ayers #31

I’m a recent graduate of Kennesaw State University (first out of many generations to attend and graduate) with a BA degree in Communication. I’m currently working for Chick-fil-A, and working toward operating my own franchise.

ZacheryAyers3I began racing go-karts when I was 15. In my first season, I won the overall Championship in my class with ProCup Karting. Months later, they sponsored me in a 6-hour Endurance Karting race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, in which I won. I quickly realized I had some type of talent in racing. I went on to win two more championships with ProCup Karting.

After taking 4 years off from racing (grew up in a single-parent home, so funds were very limited), I began racing in the Pro-Challenge Series (a 3/4 scale cup car) in 2012. I went on to win National Rookie of the Year (U.S. and Canada combined), and also won the Inaugural Pro-Challenge Series Triple Crown Champion. I finished 4th in national points that year (U.S. and Canada combined), and 2nd in the Georgia Region. In 2013, I finished 9th in National Points after missing the last 4 races of the season due to engine and carburetor failures. The end of 2013-beginning 2014 brought better days when I won the Overall and GT Pro Class Championship in the ProCup Karting Winter Series Pres. by Atlanta Motorsports Park. In 2015, I made my debut in the Pro Truck Series, only making 3 of the 6 races that year due to lack of sponsorship.

I am currently focusing on iRacing to maintain seat time, and enjoy racing with the Christian Racing League.
