I am 38 years old and live in White Oak, Texas. I have a wife, a son Matthew age 8 and a daughter Rhealyn age 10. I currently work in purchasing for a large manufacturing plant here in the East Texas area.
Prior to my 5-1/2 years at my current job I spent over 12 years working as a deputy sheriff, city police officer and deputy constable in a variety of cities and counties here in Texas. Away from work, I spent many of my younger years Drag Racing and being involved in NHRA Drag Racing quite a lot. Drag Racing was always my first love and probably always will be. However, over the last 10-15 years I have migrated over to Nascar and I now spend quite a lot of time watching and keeping up with the latest in the world of Nascar.
I have driven Drag cars at very high speeds but it just does not compare driving a real Sprint cup stockcar. I have had the unbelievable opportunity to attend Team Texas driving school at Texas Motor Speedway many times and driven real cup cars up to 160 mph. That is the most intense thing I have ever done in my life. I would love to drive for a living but like most of us that will never happen and will remain a far distant dream.
My online racing career began in 1999/2000 on the old TEN running Nascar 4. From there I followed the ladder up to Nascar 2003, GTR2, RFactor and on to the most current Arca Sim Racing ’08. I have been a member of a few different leagues over the years such as WORL, MSNT, 30+ and my current favorite CRL. I have met a number of great guys online, many of whom I consider my true friends.
As long as the Lord is willing, I will remain an avid online racer for many years to come and hopefully one day get a chance to capture an online championship.
