Hello my name is Scott Mantooth or as you know me HarrLogy. I was born and raised in Gastonia, N.C. and this is where I currently reside. I work for M&M Electric which develops and or replaces industrial controls.
I am married and have been blessed with two wonderful boys. I met my wife (Melissa) while learning to scuba dive, she was my instructor. My two sons Harrison (3) and Logan (1) are my pride and joy in fact that is where my name (HarrLogy) comes from. Everyday I thank the Lord for blessing me with such a beautiful family.
My uncle introduced me to racing by getting me to watch the Busch Clash and this young gun named Earnhardt. Instantly I developed an interest in racing. My only hands on involvement was in the early 90’s where I helped a Winston Cup team (Billy Standridge). I really enjoyed meeting all the drivers and their crews. Even though I never really pursued this as a career it did give me a different perspective as to what has to take place in order to get the car on the track.
My online career started with Nascar 2 and the Ten Network. I only raced occasionally due to finishing school and working. When Nascar 4 came out I thought I would try online racing again and the Lord had me cross paths with a gentleman named Timbercats on the first night I was online. He invited me to join in some of the pick up races and stop by the website and as they say the rest is history.
