Hi I’m Rick Disler (Disman) I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. and grew up a farm boy. I left that life to do 12 years in the Navy. I now use that experience working on cancer treatment machines for Varian Medical Systems based out of silicon valley, Ca. I live in Knoxville TN. And I can’t imagine living anywhere else. My Wife (Christin) in the picture who is from California simply love it here been here 4years now. We have 4 children between Us (Kaleigh) my youngest in shark picture.
I have always been very competitive and athletic. I hate to lose but a few years ago when I came to CR and began racing Online it was because I had a strange medical condition that inhibited me from doing almost anything outside the house. At that time I was a backsliding Christian who was attempting to again get on the right track with the Lord. But the medical Problem really took all of my desire and ambition away. The lord had heard my prayers that I had been earnestly asking to Remove whatever was inhibiting me from having a relationship with him. I was led to CR and the fellowship and inspiration Of many at CR helped get me on track again. I believe the medical problem that has almost completely disappeared as fast As it showed up was the lord removing the pride and egoism that kept me from getting on my knees and serving him.
I’m now soon to be 39 and in covenant for the lord and he has me and my wife seeking ministry training for almost a year now. I’m not Sure where the Lord will lead me to serve him in the future but I have complete trust and renewed faith that I will listen to and Obey his voice. I thank all my friends at CR and the ministry here for assisting and serving the Lord for it was a great benefit For this Christian. Maybe I will be able to be a light for another human being whom the lord is working on or calling, that is My renewed mission the rest of my life.
Oh I have to mention Steve Silver-Steve you are my inspiration brother when I was Walking through the valley brother I was content on staying and you convinced me to get out of that valley and you did That By your faith and trust in the Lord. I spoke with you and your wife when you were in the hospital, I may never have met You in person Steve but you deeply awed and inspired me. You and yours will always be in my prayers and so will all of CR. Rick (Disman)
