I grew up in the small town of Hemlock, Michigan with my three brothers and three sisters. Hemlock was so small you could walk around it in about 20 minutes. Both my eldest sister and my mother have now passed but my father still lives there.
In 1978 I entered the USAF, were I served for two years as a crewchief on F4s. While in the military I was stationed in Spain, Italy, and Turkey.
In 1988 I completed school and received my A&P license. I spent about 6 years chasing contracts across the country. I’ve been at TrimAire Avitation now for over three years, modifying King Airs and rebuilding crashed planes. As for hobbies I have a 1937 Plymouth pickup which I plan to restore and turn into a street rod. I also have a 1962 and a 1964 Ford F100, one of which we use as the family truck. Three days a week I go to the gym and work with a personal trainer. And of course there is stock car racing. I especially like watching the ASA races on TV.
I have always been a Christian, just not always a practicing one. For about 20 years I had turned my back on God. I knew he was there, but I just didn’t care. I finally realized that I need God and Jesus when the bar I spent so much time in was remodeled, and the $10,000+ I was saving for a house was no longer in the bank. It was at about this same time that I met Traci Jean and Joshua. I now live just outside Groesbeck, Texas with my wife and son.
