Hello there! My name Is Chrissi Robinson, a.k.a. Leadfoot02 on the track. I am honored to be the first female driver to join Christian Racing.
I am 24 living in Music City USA, Nashville, Tennessee. I am a sales rep with Music City Motorsports, Action Performance Company’s oldest distributor. For those who don’t know, Action produces NASCAR die cast, collectibles and apparel.
I was born in Missoula, Montana but moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in 1990. In 1995 I headed for college at Belmont University in Nashville to pursue a music business degree. I am currently finishing up the last 5 classes of my degree. I will graduate December of 2002! My one year living on campus was instrumental in my walk with Christ. I became regularly involved in Church and made some wonderful friends who would become friends for life.
I became a full-fledged race fan in 1992 at the age of 14 by watching races on TV. I don’t remember why but I chose Rusty Wallace as my favorite driver, though now I know that I like his style and attitude both on and off the track. I attended my first race with my Mom in 1999 when we watched Rusty dominate the Food City 500 at Bristol, which has become my favorite track. Since then my Mom and I have only missed one race at Bristol, the night race in 1999. 2002 will be my 2nd consecutive Daytona 500, I can’t wait!!!
A friend introduced me to online racing when NASCAR 4 first came out. I was searching the internet for a league when I came across Christian Racing. The rest is history! I also like to paint cars for NASCAR 4 but am now trying to get used to the change to NASCAR Racing 2002.
Though Rusty is my favorite NASCAR driver I am a race fan. I do have my dislikes but I also cheer for Ryan Newman, Sterling Marlin, Steadman Marlin, Dale Jr., Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Bobby Labonte, Lyndon Amick and others. Other than racing I enjoy spending time with friends, listening to music (mostly Christian including Steven Curtis Chapman, Point of Grace, Chris Rice, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant and others), listening to my friends’ music and I try to do a little songwriting.
I recently moved into my own apartment, which I share with Banzai my chinchilla. Sorry I don’t have any pictures of him yet, though he will be featured on one of my upcoming online race cars.
Well, that’s me summed up in a few paragraphs. I’m thankful for all the guys at Christian Racing who give us a clean, honest, uplifting, encouraging and competitive place to race online. I hope I can continue getting better and be known as a clean, professional, respectful driver who everyone is glad to race with.
God bless you all!
