Work with the youth part time, but the as the band gets larger I have less time to devote to the youth. I also serve on the board of directors. I was licensed as a “Minister of the Gospel” in August of this year.
Favorite Scripture: The entire book of Romans. When I was a new Christian this book but everything into perspective. It showed me just how God is in control.
Other stuff of interest: I have always been a big music fan, my parents have a picture of me when I was five with those big ‘70s headphones on and a Doors album in my lap. Now days I really enjoy Christian Rock. PFR and Third Day are my fav’s. I also really enjoy cheesy 60’s movies, and Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Monty Python. Of course there is always the junky ’89 Mustang in the garage I might finish one day.
Racing: I wasn’t a big racing fan growing up. My big thing was baseball. My dad always had several project cars around the house, and I raced R/C cars in high school, but we never really watched racing on T.V. In 1993 I tore up both my knees and couldn’t play sports any longer, so I went back to racing R/C cars. In early 1995 I picked up a new racing sim for the computer, Nascar Racing. After running it for a few months I wanted to figure out whom I was running with, so I started watching a few Nascar races on TV. By the end of the 1995 season I was hooked. (My wife calls it an addiction.) Even though I have owned every version of Nascar Racing, I have only been racing on-line since April. I was looking for pickup races to help with my N4 skills for my league I was running, when I found the CR server. I have been here ever since, I never even returned to my other league. Now you guys are stuck with me.
