I know it’s been said before, but let me say what an honor it is to be around such a great group of people. You truly show what it is to be Christian.
I was born on April 5, 1969 in New Castle Indiana. New Castle is a small town about half way between Indianapolis and the Ohio boarder. Some of my earliest memories are of going to watch the driver’s practice for the Indy 500. I was hooked the first time I saw a car going screaming down the front stretch. I have been going to the Indy 500 for over 10 years now and I have yet to miss a Brickyard 400. I also go to races at IRP, Winchester, and wherever else I can fit one in.
I moved back to New Castle last spring after moving around the state for a few years. I attend the Presbyterian Church here in town and I work for Universal Music as a customer service rep. Unfortunately I work the “west coast” shift, so I’m not able to run any of the weeknight leagues. I have never been married and don’t have any kids, but I believe when the time is comes I’ll meet the right lady. I just hope it’s not to far off in the future :-). My ultimate career goal is to go back to school and finish out my undergrad degree. If all goes well, I will start down that road next fall.
I’ve been in to computers since I got a Commodore 64 for helping my uncle blacktop his driveway. The first real race sim that I had was the Indy 500 by Papyrus. After that I found out about Nascar Racing 1. I went out and bought a copy and have had every version since. I started online racing with Nascar 3 in pickup races, but did not join a league. One night last summer I was looking around the Nascar 4 servers. I was lucky enough to join the Christian Racing Sever and haven’t thought about racing online anywhere else since.
One last thing, If you say something to me during a race and I don’t respond, I’m not ignoring you or mad. I just can’t type and drive without hitting the wall. Not that I need any excuse to wreck….
Well that’s really all I can think of right now.
See you at the track,
Brad
