Hello folks, my name is Steve Lindsey,also know as downalap car 316 online. I am 53 years old and I live in Riverdale Georgia,a small town 10 miles south of Atlanta. I work for Bellsouth Telecommunications for 35 years as an electronic technician. I have been married to my wonderful wife Charlotte for 18 years, we each have a son by previous marriages hers age 34 and mine age 27. We also have a grandson by her son age 9. Being a grandpaw to him has been a true joy of my life.
I was saved on October 20,1984 under the preaching of my present pastor Dr. Joe Arthur. I am a member of the Jonesboro Babtist Tabernacle. I have been a racing fanatic all my life. My earliest memories of racing were playing in my dads old 39 ford Jalopy race car as a young child and attending all the local short track races growing up.
I always dreamed to be a racecar driver like my heros Fireball Roberts, Junior Johnson and the likes. I thought I had found my racing outlet when I got into Radio controlled racing for the last 15 years. Then I bought Nascar 4 and have been hooked on computer racing ever since. My early experiences online racing were very disapointing with all the cursing and flaming,then for somereason I did a search on “Christian Racing” and I new I was where the Lord wanted me. I was made to feel right at home here and still do.
I consider it a honor to be a part of the Christian racing family.
