I’m 36 years old, I’ve been married to my wonderful wife Lea Ann for 12 years. We have a 11 year old daughter Nicole, a 4 year old son Lawson, and a 4 month old son Evan. I grew up in Northeast Arkansas and worked on the family farm until I was about 16 and realized that I wasn’t cut out to be a farmer.
Early on I knew I wanted to be a police officer, and when I turned 22 I was hired in my hometown and served there for a year. I worked at several different police departments and Sheriff’s office. In 1993 while working for the West Memphis, Arkansas police dept. A friend set me up on a blind date and we started dating. Everything was great but I felt something was missing in my life. I had lived most of my life without God.
A friend and fellow police officer invited me and my then girlfriend to his church and we accepted. We started going on a regular basis and after a few months I realized that I was lost, well it hit me like a ton of bricks. Lea Ann and I called the pastor that day.
