Hi.
My name is Ryan Holyfield. I’m 30 yrs old and have been married to my better half Denise for 7 years now. We have a beautiful 18mo. old daughter Kayla who keeps us on our toes. I was born and raised in eastern NC and currently live in Winterville, NC, about 5 miles outside of Greenville, NC. I work as a Systems Administrator for EDS at Weyerhaeuser’s Pulp Mill in New Bern, NC. Denise’s family and mine are both from Plymouth, NC which is a little town about an hours drive west of the beautiful Outer Banks of NC. We love the coast and routinely vacation there and go on several fishing trips each year.
I’ve been online racing since the days of Hawaii with Nascar Racing 1. Man, this sim has changed a lot since those days of rubbin fenders on my sweet Gateway 486DX w/ a smashing 8MB of RAM.
I stumbled onto CR just by chance, or maybe it was a higher power that lead me here. Either way it has been nothing but a joy to get to know all of you guys and gals and the racing is second to none. Tuesday nights (CC) and Friday nights (Wrangler) are what I look forward to coming home to…next to my little girl of course. I must be getting old… in my younger days, at the house on the computer is the last place you’d find me on a Friday night!! lol I guess God does work in mysterious ways!! 🙂
