Shaun Carrick

Christian Racing Driver Bio

Hello, my name is Shaun Carrick, also known as AA Triple#7. I live in Ft. Worth, Texas, the greatest state in the Union! I was born in Sacramento California in 1966. I lived there until 1988 when I moved to San Jose to go to school (San Jose State). After only 1 year I ran out of money and got a job with American Airlines as a Fleet Service Clerk. In 1992 I was forced to move to Texas. It was one of the best things I ever did.

In 1994, after my girlfriend died in a car crash, her family took me under their wing and took me to their church. I had grown up in Catholic Church, but I had never been to a New Testament Bible church until that day. It changed my life forever. On July 10, 1994 I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I became very active in the singles ministry there. Through that I met my wife, Pamela. We have been married 4 ½ wonderful years. She is a strong compassionate person who loves to help those who cannot help themselves. We have three children, Jessie (13), Tyler (8), and Abigail (2). Before you start trying to do the math, Jessie and Tyler were from Pam’s 1st marriage. Their father left them and eventually gave up his parental rights in 1999, allowing me to adopt them. So, they are all mine.

I got involved in racing at an early age as my parents raced Corvettes in solo racing (autocross is what they called it). It was a blast. I remember every year they had a practice event where they allowed passengers. I was so little that could hardly see out the window. But What a blast!! Before I left for school, I raced my own car in a stock class of the same kind of racing. I grew up following Indy and formula 1 racing. When I moved to Ft. Worth and we got the Texas Motor Speedway (which I live only 15 minutes from) I got hooked on NASCAR. I have raced all of the Papyrus Nascar games, but it was not until this last April that I ventured in to the world of online racing. It was pretty intimidating. But then I ventured in to a server called “ChristianRacing” and the rest is history. I’m here to stay. I may get hot at times (it’s the Irish in me and I’m working on it) but I’m always there for anyone. You can count on that.
