My name is Dominic Papa, I am 51 years old and I live in Bellingham, Washington with my wife and our cat. I have 6 sons, 4 who are grown men, the other two live in Alaska with their mother. I work as a welder/fabricator in a structural steel shop and my wife works for the city of Bellingham. I was born and raised in NJ which is where my interest in racing began. When I was 16 years old my family moved to Flemington NJ, home of the famous Flemimgton Speedway, where I had the opportunity to race for a few years when it was a clay track.
When I was young I made up my mind I was going to see and experience as much as I could in my life, and when I turned 19 I began an adventure that lasted most of my adult life. I have lived in 12 states and 1 foreign country, my dad calls me the gypsy of our family. There is way too much to tell about my life here, but I am in the process of writing a book about my adventures. So if you are interested look for it in a couple of years (if it gets published, that is).
I began my online sim racing career 12 years ago and I’ve been racing ever since. I’ve owned a sim race team for the past 10 years called Thunder Road Motorsports. The team consists of Zack Methvin, Gene Nie, Eric Harlan, Bryan Butler Paul Sanders and me.
